A CAPS-certified specialist visits your home, listens to the situation, evaluates needs, and identifies modifications. No pressure, no sales pitch. Typically 60–90 minutes.
Detailed Plan & Transparent Quote
You receive a written plan with line-item pricing, timeline, and funding options — including VA HISA, Medicaid waiver, insurance, and financing guidance.
Professional Installation
Licensed, insured, lead-safe certified crews complete the work with daily clean-up and clear communication. Most projects complete in 1–3 weeks.
Walk-Through & Ongoing Support
Final walk-through with the client and family. We remain available for adjustments, additions, and future modifications as needs evolve.

Founded in Eugene in 2009, A1 Aging in Place is one of only six CAPS-certified contractors in Lane County. Our founder's personal experience caring for aging parents drives every project — we treat your family's home with the same care we'd give our own.
Every project is led by a CAPS-certified designer. Every crew member is licensed, insured, and background-checked. We've completed 3,400+ modifications across Lane County since 2009.
